United Youth Leaders of Barbados (UYLB), was previously called the Emerging Global Leaders of Barbados from 2007-2011.  It has been in existence as a fully functioning organization for the past five years. It  has quickly flourished into and become one of the most influential and well known organizations in Barbados. It has provided an avenue for young people of Barbados to have a "voice" and to develop their leadership skills through training and service. The organization acts as a support group for young people guided by its motto "Empowering Today's Youth to creatively shape a better tomorrow." We cater to young people between the ages of 15-29 years.

• Create a forum and a structure to give youth a voice

• Provide a structure to give service to our society

• Discuss and sensitize self and others on global issues
